Ticket Seller Ben
The end of this week I am working the TSSAA Girl's State Tournament in Murfreesboro, TN. So far it is fun as it is campus and Michael brought his WiFi enabled laptop and the campus is 100 percent WiFi. We are jammin' to XM Radio Online and looking people on Facebook and MySpace.
Michael and I have Tennessee State trooper protecting us from these evil crazy middle and high school kids. One kid snapped his fingers at me when he did not get his change quick enough I guess. Last year my friend worked the event with his girlfriend and the trooper spent a lot of time in the ticket booth 'protecting' them. This year it is just me and him and the trooper does not spent much time at all. His girlfirend was 'looker.'
A group in the afternoon made a mess in the bathroom when they were painting themselves with paint to cheer for there team. The police was yelling at them and got there group leader. They were forced to clean up the mess of blue and yellow paint.
Free food and soda are included in the deal and the pay is good so it is a good gig overall.
Funny thing - This morning this older gentleman came into the ticket booth. Comes to find out that the ticket booth is his office. He seamed mad that during this week and next week his 'office' was to be used during the day.
